I'm using MIDI files imported from Sibelius as the foundation of a detailed mockup using GPO5 (okay, okay... I know it's not the best, but having trialled a few library setups it seems to be the most convenient option for this project.) The MIDI files come with a lot of volume changes inherited from the score markings, but unfortunately GPO5 seems to ignore those in favour of the Mod Wheel. So I've created another MIDI CC lane for Mod Wheel. What I'd like to know is whether it's possible to: a) Reassign the default Volume lane to Mod Wheel b) Copy the info wholesale from the Volume lane onto the Mod Wheel lane. Perhaps there's some JS piece of wizardry that would be appropriate? I intend to make more fine changes to the volume/expression, call it what you will, but it would save a great deal of time if I could use the existing data as a starting point - it's a 30m full orchestral score... Thanks in advance.

Go to the Volume lane, right-click in an empty area, select "Select all events in lane", right-click in an empty area, select "Event properties", change the Controller from "07 Volume" to "01 Mod Wheel". Or, on Windows, have a look at MIDIConverter3 in insertpizhere's MIDI pack.

Ever the speedy and helpful one DarkStar. Thank you. Three pages in so far, just artics and no dynamics yet - only another 140 to go...
