What model/engine code have i got?

Sorry for the dumb question guy's but been looking around on the forum, and seen things written like v70 P2 and so on, and also different engine numbers. What is mine or how do i find out? mines a 1999 'V' V70 2.3 T5 Again, sorry for the bumd question. Cheers, Raj

how much horses,225?I think these(classic) had the same engines as their predessesors(850) T-5:B5234T R:B5234T4 it's in your manual.:err:

P1 and P2 ( Phase ) is a bit misleading , it was conceived outside volvo .. volvo use the term P1 and P2 ( Platform ) for the S40/V50 ( 644 / 645 ) and S60/V70 ( 384 / 285) respectivly ... You have the 875 V70 .

Engine code is on the cam belt cover. I think the '99 V70 T5 had 240 hp Maybe B5234T3

Don't need to take the cover off there should be a white sticker on the outside.
