ok so i have this type of key fob and the key is slack when its held in if that makes sense i have another key fob but its held tight in so i want to take this one appart and see if i can get it to hold in tight also. what im wondering is if i take it appart is it likely to stop working i.e. will the code that links it to the car be lost?

Doubt it, as you have to open it to replace the battery when it goes flat...but I would wait for one of the experts on here to confirm that before you open it...
