Stalling when on full lock

My 242 has started to stall when the steering is on full lock, either left or right. I have tried the search facility with no luck. Any ideas?

With a slightly low tickover combined with pressure relief valve on power steering pump possibly being a little lazy it puts more strain on engine. Solution - do not hold steering on full lock (you shouldn't anyway) Possibly raise idle speed a little. Mike

Thanks Mike. Is there any way to check the Pressure Relief Valve to see if it's OK?.....oh, and where would it be located.
